OAMC x PROVOKE
OAMC, in coordination with publisher NITESHA, has developed a six piece collection featuring images by photographer Daido Moriyama, photographer and critic Takuma Nakahira, and a poem by Takahiko Okada, all originally published in the Japanese magazine PROVOKE. PROVOKE magazine was founded in Tokyo in 1968 by art critic Koji Taki, poet Takahiko Okada, and photographers Daido Moriyama, Takuma Nakahira, and Yutaka Takanashi. The magazine examined Japan’s socio-political situation with a radically inventive style and had an immeasurable influence on photography worldwide.
The OAMC x PROVOKE collection includes OAMC’s signature vintage Peacemaker US military surplus M-65 liner overdyed in black, a vintage Swedish Army cotton snow parka in mineral grey, loose-fit crewneck and hooded sweatshirts in brushed Italian cotton, and lightweight cotton short-sleeved T-shirts. Both OAMC and PROVOKE logos are printed on the pieces while a jacquard label with the OAMC logo is applied on the front of each style.
